-Conducted research on improving the life of Friction Stir Welding tool for high strength materials by analyzing the affects of using a Donor Material. -Drafted 3D models and simulations of the FSW process using Siemens NX 8.5, to further evaluate the welding variables during FSW and its mechanical characteristics. -Gathered and documented data collected from the Friction Stir Welding machine and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). -Nominated to present research project for 2016 Emerging Researchers National (ERN) Conference.

Our goal is to increase the retention and graduation rate within our department by offering a stress free learning environment amongst peers.
