Provided executive management over daily operations supporting a 3,600 acre community touching the lives of 46,000 local residents. Directly responsible for the performance of 5 divisions consisting of 1,500 employees whose expertise spans various fields including: Contracting, Engineering, HR, Logistics & Supply, Recreation and Physical Security. Focused on efficiency and continual process improvement in order to provide the maximum level of customer service while meeting and/or exceeding budgetary goals.Promoted internally from previous position as Facility Operations Manager (Dept. of Public Works).Led a 365-person engineer organization and managed a $10 million budget to accomplish operations and maintenance supporting 508 buildings and 5.2 million linear feet of utilities (including electrical, mechanical and plumbing) valued at $4.6 billion dollars. Reviewed 250 service contracts, infrastructure assessments and industry proposals to insure technical accuracy and compliance with government’s regulatory guidance to include landscape design, transportation, security measures and other infrastructure assessments. Directly responsible for $120 million design and $200 million construction project portfolios. Ensured quality improvement was developed and carried out among staff.
