Echo Interaction is a team of young mobile and web developers that rapidly develops aesthetically-beautiful apps for our clients. My duties at Echo consist of developing iOS applications using the Objective-C langues and creating server APIs to interface with our applications using Ruby on Rails. Accomplishments:- Involved in completion of over 4 apps from start to app store. - Programmed robust server API for social photo sharing application utilizing technologies such as Ruby on Rails, Amazon EC2, Amazon S3 Bucket, Amazon RDS and JSON/XML.- Programmed full iOS applications using technologies such as XCode, Objective-C, RestKit, Cocoapods and Apple's CoreData framework.

I was hired onto Retro Lab to help with military simulations and educational game development. At Retro Lab, I quickly improved my ActionScript3 skills and have since developed more than five training modules and games. I work closely with researchers to provide our clients with useful training material that makes learning more interactive and exciting. I also oversee a small team of programmers and maintain our server and website.Accomplishments:- Interactive flash training for disaster relief procedures.- Flash-based top down GTA style to-do list game with artificial intelligence and physics. - Migration of all our websites to my personal web server and allocation of ftp accounts for our team members. - Debugged and updated code from our previous programmers.

The Safety Doctor is a continuing education service that provides safety training and certifications to individuals and groups in Florida. Many of these certifications can be obtained through online courses. I worked closely with another programmer to develop a back-end system that would track the users time and progress throughout the course. Here I learned much more about database programming and the technologies available. Accomplishments:- Developed a bridge that sent data from the front-end (Adobe Captivate) to an AS3 widget, then to a PHP remoting library called AMFPHP, then to our PHP classes and ultimately to the MySQL database. This stream of data had to be sent both ways and was a fairly complex chain of events that would log most everything that the student would do while taking the course.- Organized and developed training videos according to specification requirements. These videos included animations, multimedia content, and section review quizzes.

I joined the Plainvue team to program an educational Flash-based game called Chainshooter. When the company transitioned into the mobile market, I ported Chainshooter to the iPhone and began working on other iPhone-based projects as well. I gained skill sets involving Torque Game Engine and TorqueScript. In addition to programming, I was also involved in the creative process and aesthetics. Accomplishments:- Developed custom scripts for resizing and pre-processing images for an iOS application.- Developed projectile system and enemy movement classes. - Converted flash animations to sprite sheets for importing into the game. - Worked on two iOS games that were released to market.
