PLM & DMU Consultant, permanent assignment (6 years) at Volvo Trucks, 3P Lyon division to support business IS/IT team.# 2003-2008 – Project manager: CAD-systems switch in Volvo Trucks Lyon Chassis and Cabin Engineering departments.I have managed during several years a project to replace the CAD tools used by 2 Engineering departments (Chassis & Cabin) with a 10 people project team:- Negotiation of the switch strategy between CAD doc management and part management systems (we have delivered a process with no break)- Engineering and Organization of end-users training and ramp-up support- Implementation of conversion tools and methodologies to be able to work within the new CAD tool with data from the two other CAD systems (Euclid & Pro/Engineer).- Policy of CAD document re-modelisation in new format (sub-contracted in India)# 2002 – Project manager: implementation of Digital Mock-Up tools for new Premium Chassis project (first real common project between Swedish and French teams).
