I am a strategic and meticulous professional with over 16 years of experience in the Financial Industry with proven success in solving critical problems with innovative solutions. My passion and exceptional leadership qualities have allowed me to achieve great professional success in auditing, lecturing and operations management. I hold a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the prestigious University of the West Indies, Mona, where I now serve as an Adjunct Tutor for Financial Accounting and Introduction to Cost and Management Accounting in groups of up to 90 students. Although my tutorial sessions are always oversubscribed, I ensure to provide a positive and conducive environment for learning where courses receive an above the rate pass mark. Also, I am currently the Senior Auditor of the BDO (Chartered Accountant), where I manage multiple audit engagements simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of work and conducts audit planning, fieldwork and completion in line with budgets and deadlines. Along with my academic and auditing profession, I have experience in management where I elevated yearly revenues by over 110%, achieved the growth of company assets and utilized recruitment and selection strategies to ensure a strong team to help meet the company's goals and objectives. However, my professional accolades are not the only accomplishments I have under my belt. I have served in various capacities for the North Street United Church as Board Member, Vice-Chair of Finance and Property Committee, Youth Advisor and Elder.
