Over this time I was asked to act as Director for the commissioning of the Townsville Private Clinic and supported the recruitment and transition of psychiatrists fro the public to the private sector, fulfilling supervision and clinic governance roles as a senior lead clinician.Simultaneously, I was recruited to troubleshoot at the Brisbane Waters Private Hospital which required clinical leadership and recruitment and oversaw its expansion to a vibrant 37bed co-located mental health unit.This then allowed me to begin my role at The Hills Clinic as I resigned as Director of Psychiatry for the past 12 years

I began as Director at Currumbin having been a VMO there for the previous 5 years and thoroughly enjoyed growing the hospital from 50 to 104 beds over the next 10 years. During this time I gained a wealth of experience in the clinical governance of private mental health hospitals, recruitment of medical staff and developing and stimulating and supportive environment for my colleagues and staff.
