• Organize and implement daily planning of the carriers• Timely invoicing of all customer deliveries in accordance with the daily plan and customer bookings• Organize and implement daily loading plan for all customer deliveries with a special focus on delivery booking dates, SLA’s, co-loading and route optimization• Plan, organize and Optimize loading efficiency and truck utilization accordingly with the daily loading plan, with specific emphasis on cost-saving and customer satisfaction• Ensure the conformity of carriers to established service levels• First point of contact for dispatching, loading and all outbound transport related issues• Responsible for maintaining close relationships with carriers for the daily operations objectives• Preparation of daily/weekly/monthly dispatch, loading and transport reports• Daily operational issues follow-up, and resolution• Intensive/Extensive Reporting• Weekly/Monthly/Annual Budgeting • Manage Transport Efficiency• Transport Contract reviews and new Tenders• Daily Warehouse Planning• Raise Purchase Orders for all Transport related costs• Full control of 3PL accounts• PO reconciliation• POD scanning• Transport Costs Validation• Monthly and Quarterly KPI Reviews with Transporter • Assists the Outbound Manager in preparing reports, budgets and trends• Investigates customer disputes – CHEP account• First point of contact with transport Suppliers and the business and also the contact person in managing the relationships• Managing Transport Expenditure• Scheduling of Vehicles• Professional customer communication and excellent customer service• Vehicle Spot checks• Manage relationship with 3PL• Compliance to SHEQ requirements and applicable legislations
