I am originally from New York City, NY, took a ten year hiatus in Istanbul, Turkey, but am now back in the Big Apple. I have been teaching for 17 years in both Greenwich, CT (5 Years), 10 years in Istanbul Turkey, and now at the Chapin School. I am a certified K-12 Physical Education teacher who is teaching High School Physical Education at Robert College in Istanbul, Turkey. I have a MA in Education with a concentration in Early Elementary Education. I have been coaching basketball at the elementary, middle, and most recently high school level for the past 15 years.
My personal mission is to ensure every child develops the skills, attitudes, and personal responsibility for a lifetime of physical fitness, a healthy lifestyle, and wellness behaviors in a learning environment that is positive, encouraging and promotes discovery.
