About Gregory Pratt
My background includes design work in three major fields. Industrial, commercial, and medical. I have worked the majority of my career designing leading edge products starting with industrial control equipment utilizing the first 8 bit micro processors on the market in 1979. My first commercial computer was introduced in 1980 providing advanced storage of 760 Bytes on each of two floppy disks and 256KB of memory (bank switched) operating with the CP/M operating system and Basic language programming. My medical experience includes design work for Clinicomp, a hospital information system provider, embedded digital and video design of the 840 vent for Nellcor Pruitan Bennett, and design work on the V60 vent and architect and designer for the embedded digital and video of the V12000 ventilator for Philips Healthcare.
