CurrentPrototype Software Lead for Next Generation Jammer Proposal Effort(1) Designed, implemented and fielded Concept Demonstrator graphical software system using Visual Studio 2010, C# and WPF. Used by flight test operators on Gulfstream III aircraft during testing of in-flight power generation system. Software interfaced with aircraft systems via Ballard ARINC-429 and MIL-STD 1553 PC interface cards, recorded flight data, provided operator situational awareness, and allowed control of test article being carried by the aircraft.(2) Designed first-of-its-kind resource allocation algorithm to perform real-time management of jamming assignments on an Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) segmented transmitter. Demonstrated to Navy customer and was extremely well-received.===========================================Implementation and Architecture lead for U.S. Navy EA-18G Electronic Attack Unit (EAU).(1) Developed application infrastructure, tasking model and low-level communications interfaces. Infrastructure communicated on a high-speed fibre channel network, multiple 1553 buses, and an Ethernet network to electronic jamming pods and support hardware(2) Led the detailed design and implementation of embedded tactical software across three separate development sites using Green Hills Integrity RTOS and Ada-95. (3) Arbitrated the selection of tools, languages, environments and methods to be used in the development of embedded flight software(4) Provided on-site debug and support at Navy bases during developmental testing(5) Primary technical liaison between the company and all RTOS/hardware vendors (6) Mentored junior engineers
