As a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) black belt and father, I've spent years learning the values of discipline, perseverance, and resilience, both on and off the mats. My journey through BJJ has shaped how I approach challenges, not just in martial arts but also in my personal life, especially as a father. Whether it's spending time with my kids or teaching them about hard work and respect, the lessons I’ve learned in BJJ continue to guide me in everything I do.In addition to my love for BJJ, I’m an entrepreneur and business owner, having started x7DW, a non-profit that organizes community-funded Jiu-Jitsu tournaments and special events. This allows me to combine my passion for the sport with my drive to give back to the community. Building a business around something I care deeply about has been an incredibly rewarding experience, and I take pride in creating opportunities for others to experience the positive impact of BJJ.As a veteran, I’ve brought the discipline and leadership skills I learned in the military into my business and personal life. Balancing my roles as a father, BJJ practitioner, entrepreneur, and business owner has been challenging, but it’s a journey I wouldn’t trade for anything. Every day, I strive to be a role model for my kids and my community, showing them that with hard work and dedication, you can achieve great things in all areas of life.
