With more than 15 years of experience as a communications director, I've had the privilege of working across multinational, agency, and not-for-profit sectors. A unique career portfolio delivering global and regional communications strategies across a myriad of topics has given me a comprehensive understanding of organization structures, stakeholder engagement and the key elements for impactful and effective communications and change management and employee engagement.I thrive in the diversity of leading multiple programs and I'm not afraid to embrace innovation to drive engagement and program success. I recognize the importance of supporting business goals, while being able to adapt to evolving requirements. Every day I bring my skills in project management, teamwork, and creative communications to the table, ensuring the teams I advise or lead are equipped with effective and impactful communication strategies. I firmly believe in the power of brand excellence and the critical role it plays in fostering a positive reputation with audiences across the board.

Head Of Workplace CommunicationsBusiness In The Community May 2015 - Jul 2017LondonResponsible for all communications and branding for Business in the Community's four workplace campaigns that are committed to ensuring that age, gender, race and physical and mental wellbeing do not limit an employee’s engagement and success in the workplace. The role requires excellent relationship management of multiple stakeholders from across the immediate workplace team (four campaigns, membership advisory team and a benchmark team), wider Business in the Community, partners that sit on four Leadership Teams, and the membership network in order to deliver effective communications. Role oversees stakeholder management, website & media, branding across all workplace services & content, e-comms, and relationship management of key membership organisations, government & industry partners. In early 2016, the remit doubled from gender and race to include two additional campaigns - age and wellbeing - without an increase in team size. Implementation of a new planning process for all internal stakeholders ensures that all messaging and communication to the membership and to external audiences are aligned and structured.Key achievements include development and delivery of stakeholder and media strategy for two major public projects - the largest ever survey of race at work (24,457 respondents) and one of the most comprehensive surveys of mental health at work (19,282 respondents). Success was rooted in comprehensive stakeholder engagement with employers and partners, leading a team to deliver nationwide press coverage, relationship management of senior leader and communications contacts in sponsor/partner organisations, and engagement with industry partners. Further achievements include: managing a rebrand of three distinct campaigns to come under Business in the Community brand; production of new website; successful launches of many research reports; YoY increases in media coverage and website traffic; effective e-comms; and launch of new benchmark service. -
