• Led regulatory and environmental compliance and permitting efforts ATP operations in the OCS waters of the Gulf of Mexico both on the shelf and in deep water.
• Coordinated activities with federal (EPA, MMS, USCG, USACE) regulatory agencies to guarantee compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and guidelines.

• Coordinated submission and securing permits and application approvals for upstream and midstream oil and gas operations, Texas projects both onshore and offshore, (state waters and territorial.
• Coordinated activities on behalf of approximately 35 clients, with federal (USCG, EPA, USACE) state (TXRRC, TXGLO, TNRCC, TPWD) and local (county, city, navigation districts) ensuring compliance with applicable rules.

• Managed state funded well plugging program. Oversight of an approximate $1MM budget. Requested and secured state funds, bid and oversight of all aspects of the plugging program, averaging 60 wells per year increasing.
• Supervised both clerical and field personnel involved in the well plugging program.
• Performed in the district office as part of management and technical staff, as needed, assisting with design of plugging procedures, and other field operations, including oil theft investigations.
