Distribution Center, West Jordan, Ut

Occupying a new position for the company, I brought their Distribution Center into compliance with government regulations by developing new internal operations as well as examining methods already in place to identify and fix problems. Under my watch the Distribution Center was able to pass government inspection without violation. Approximately 250,000 regulated items were moved through the Distribution Center annually.

As Assistant Hunting Department Manager, I was part of the team responsible for overseeing operation of the entire store. At the same time I had a more detailed focus on my Department. I was solely responsible for all matters related to firearms, such as Government Compliance, firearms logs, customer background checks, federal forms, merchandising, inventory, special ordering, and employee training. I also aided the Department Manager with scheduling, hiring, HR matters, public relations and non-firearm inventory and merchandising.
