Provides administrative support to further both the goals of the unit and the mission of the hospital. Maintains proper staffing to ensure quality patient care and develops alternative staffing proposals as patient caseload evolves. Collaborates with Director of Education and Research to identify and develop staff educational programs based on staff and patient needs. Plans, prepares and maintains budget parameters for staffing (FTE’s) and operations. Justifies budget variances appropriately. Plans, submits and continuously monitors capital and operating budgets for units. Ensures cost effective utilization of personnel, supplies and equipment. Collaborates with Administrative Directors for Cardiac Services and Radiology and with Directors of Nursing to develop projects of mutual interests. Ensures that daily operations are effective and in compliance with applicable Federal, State and Joint Commission on Accreditation for Healthcare Organizations regulatory standards. Responsible for delivery of patient care in accordance with established standards.

Responsible for coordinating radiological program for the Cardiac Catheterization and the Digital Angiography Suite including adequate RT coverage for all cases, maintaining on-call system for emergency cases, managing radiation safety program and ensuring that equipment is appropriately maintained and supplies are adequately stocked. Works closely with Manager to ensure that staff educational needs are met. Maintains all Quality Assurance for the Angiography Suite. Analyze reports and convey findings to senior management. Strong Interventional Vascular and Neuro Interventional Radiology background.
