As a technology leader, my experience working in demanding healthcare and technology settings has developed my skills to research, communicate, and execute responses to evolving technology changes. Early in my career, I was commissioned to solve a very serious patient care issue that involved complex systems, facility environmental variables, clinical processes, patient outcomes, and executive escalation. Through team building and engagement, I was able to learn, challenge, educate and guide multiple stakeholders to deliver results that exceed organizational expectations and set new standards for the department. I choose to embrace the difficult problems and as a result have gained extensive experience working through obstacles with staff, from technicians to executives, on systems and projects across nearly every technology domain. Some projects included working with teams on regional and national firsts in EMR integration, clinical communications, medical device security, and radiation oncology technologies. As my roles evolved, so did the demand for cybersecurity expertise. I began consulting and implementing cybersecurity programs for institutions throughout the US while learning about unique technology environments, frameworks, techniques and tactics. Through working with these teams, I was able to represent my organization at trade shows, in webinars, and podcasts and achieve industry awards. My current team consists of highly skilled staff in the areas of software development, database management, infrastructure-as-code, service management, and cybersecurity. Together we can deliver results in a complex, dynamic, lean, cutting-edge environment. No one likes to experience unplanned downtime, troubleshoot preventable issues, or be in the news for the wrong reasons, so we spend time developing the right strategy and execute with precision. If you would like to be a part of the team or learn more about my journey let’s connect.
