I am a software test engineer with 12 years experience in Section 508 compliance testing and 9 years experience in performance testing using OpenText LoadRunner. I am the performance test lead and a senior section 508 tester on my current project, as well as part of our team leadership.As a senior Section 508 tester I not only perform testing but also engage in reporting and analysis, communication with stakeholders such as developers, business customers, and executive leadership. I am regularly consulted by other members of the Section 508 testing team when difficulties arrive in regards to defects, remediation of identified issues, testing methods, and client and application team communication as well as performing extensive 508 testing myself. I am highly experience in testing methods such as Assistive Technology testing, code analysis (both directly and using tools such as ANDI), Manual Testing, and Visual Inspection. I have extensive knowledge of WCAG 2.0 and Section 508 in general and am a certified DHS Trusted Tester.As performance test lead I am responsible for assuring the success of performance tests in our test lab. I organize testing efforts across multiple applications by planning work assignments and schedules, review scripts and resolve scripting issues, supervise tests, communicate with application team technical teams during test monitoring, and perform scripting and testing myself. I perform scripting, testing, and results analysis using OpenText LoadRunner. I am a trusted point of contact to communicate with both clients and applications teams in regards to results, issues, and testing scope. .As a team leader, I am part of the lab management team and work on improvement of lab processes and fulfillment of client requests and action items. I assign and organize the testing of the many applications that come through our lab each week, as well as serving as a POC for our lab with external stakeholders. I provide guidance to team members and am relied upon for risk identification and analysis, problem solving, and communication. Team members work with me when they need guidance about how to deal with things like external challenges to results or difficult questions from developers or other stakeholders, as well as issues about their work and role in the lab. I am relied upon for decision making and internal and external communication.
