Worked with clinical operations, translational medicine, and biostatics groups on the TRIDENT-1 trial (repotrectinib), which is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor for the treatment of patients with locally advanced or metastatic ROS1 fusion positive non-small cell lung cancer. Reviewed biomarkers (fusions and oncogenic activating mutations) for patient trial eligibility for TRIDENT-1, as well as several other trials.Worked with external partners to develop clinical trial assays. Identified biomarkers from solid tumor and liquid biopsy (on target/off target) correlated with subject drug response and clinical efficacy of Repotrectinib. Developed integrated biospecimen shipping, tracking and testing systems.

Directed team of bioinformatics scientists in the development and maintenance of bioinformatics software to support the launch of health and wellness based genetic reports. Worked closely with R&D to design, validate and launch CLIA/NY approved NGS and QPCR based assays.

Lead team of 4-5 scientists and analysts in the development of bioinformatics analysis pipelines and associated LIMS, variant analysis and reporting software for NGS sequencing products using Illumina and Ion Torrent platforms. Worked as part of the R&D assay development group to develop several custom NGS assays including: the Nexcourse Pancancer assay (versions 1 and versions 2), Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) RNA based fusion assay and the Myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN) targeted profile. Transitioned the operation of all NGS analysis pipelines from an internal SGE compute cluster to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure.

Analysis pipeline and algorithm development for Cardiac Health, Pain Medication, Mental Health Medication and the next-gen sequencing (Ion Torrent) based colorectal cancer and breast cancer (Illumina MiSeq) screening products.
