I Spent the majority of my adult career consulting for numerous industries mainly focusing on medical and surgical product development. At age 28 I started my own company. I have been a self-employed business owner specializing in development, creation, production, and distribution of various marketing products and services especially medical and surgical. I have enjoyed extensive involvement with charities and volunteerism since my youth. Upon reaching my forties, my desire to build a career that was altruistic in nature as well as renew my desire to practice medicine and provide care to underserved persons in rural communities became a necessity. I quit working, passed up a partnership offer, and began the fulfillment of this lifelong dream which i had squelched for many years. My goal is to complete medical school and residency, during which time I will continue to consult in the development of medical products with my spare time. Upon completion, my family and I hope to be fortunate enough to find a rural community that is severely underserved medically. Like my father has done in his small community, we hope to lay down roots and become an integral part of the varied aspects of life in small town America. My family and I are looking at towns all over the U.S. that need and want an involved, dedicated, community-minded family and physician. We hope to visit several and meet the people in hopes of finding a great match.Specialties: I enjoyed emergency medicine and trauma surgery when I was younger. I now enjoy getting to know people and have chosen general practice specializing in the underserved and elderly. I am always looking for physicians, clinics and surgeons to shadow and learn from. A reminder again, I have no liscence to practice only the ability and desire to observe and learn.
