I currently work in the role of Verification and External Moderation Consultant for various SETAs. I have had these roles since 2005 and have provided various strategic as well as policy development for both SETA’s. In addition, I am presently consulting with various organisations about the implementation of lifelong learning against various delivery models to meet the needs of individuals as well as the organisations. As part of this kind of work I have set up Recognition of Prior Learning models and implementation strategies, flexible-learning solutions for adult learners with different needs and technology based learning (e-learning) models and implementation strategies. My work experience includes 10 years in the field of training, project managing and managing within educational institutions. I currently work as the General Manager of the Gregory Paul Consultants, a consultancy that help providers with Material Development, Assessment and Moderation Services, Learner Support through Coaching, Accreditation, NQF alignment, Workplace Skills plans and Annual Training Reports, Skills Audits as well as Quality Management Systems. My work experience and key skills include:§ Teaching and training – both in an educational and a commercial environment and at all levels, including postgraduate§ Coordinating and managing relationships – between departments and skills sets, and with people at all levels§ Project Management – of small to medium sized book and printed material projects of a complex nature, and over and extended time period§ Accreditation- Writing QMS for providers, NQF alignment of material to unit standards, accreditation process consultant§ Skills Development Facilitation – creating skills strategies, implementing training plans, researching efficacy of training
