Supervised a 13 person section responsible for planning, budgeting, and executing all training and operations for a battalion providing Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) and All Source analytical support to ARCENT and CENTCOM. Mentored seven mid-level staff members on the conduct of planning and executing company training events. Developed and managed the battalion tasking and operation order synchronization matrix to ensure efficient flow of information between higher and lower echelons. Managed the allocation of over $1,000,000 in training funds in a 12 month period for five subordinate organizations to meet mission requirements.

Served as a First Sergeant of a Military Intelligence Company of a deployable forward collection battalion in support of ARCENT, CENTCOM, and Joint Special Operations Task Force – Afghanistan.Responsible for the health, morale, welfare, training and discipline of 100 Soldiers and 40 Civilians.Responsible for mentoring and professional development of 43 NCOs to include 11 Sergeants First Class.Responsible for implementation and enforcement of the Commander’s policies, training guidance, validation, and sustainment within the detachment.

Coached, taught and mentored HUMINT collection teams during situation training exercise (STX), force on force and mission rehearsal exercises for Military Source Operation (MSO) CAT II and interrogation operations. Responsible for the development, planning, preparation and execution of five days of HUMINT Pre-Rotation Training (PRT).Managed over 70 role players during STX and force on force training ensuring the roles accentuated combat situations which increased realism of the training scenario.

Served as a First Sergeant of Military Intelligence Company (HUMINT) of a deployable forward collection battalion in support of 3rd U.S. Army and CFLCC.Responsible for the professional development, welfare, discipline and morale of 90 Soldiers and their Families.Developed teams and training plans for real world missions and requests for support for FORSCOM and SOCOM units.Sought opportunities for Soldiers to receive additional training that would enhance their HUMINT skills.

Led a 16 person independent operational HUMINT team in Afghanistan resulting in 125 missions to 75 objectives, 725 intelligence reports and the capture of four vetted targets.Responsible for five recruited sources and over 40 continuous contacts while serving in Afghanistan.Maintained accountability of more than $1,500,000 of classified and unclassified systems to include weapons, tactical and non-tactical vehicles throughout the deployment.Conducted seven reliefs in place for other teams in the platoon to ensure all systems and sources were accounted for and turned over properly.

Led a six-person Ground Surveillance Remotely Monitored Battlefield Sensor System (REMBASS) squad while ensuring Soldiers understood and could execute REMBASS missions to support the commander’s intelligence requirements. Developed new tactics, techniques and procedures that would allow the use of REMBASS sensors to support multiple missions in the arctic environment.Responsible for over $3,000,000 in REMBASS equipment.
