Directs effort of Board of Directors for WVRC. WVRC is a 501c3 organization whose mission is to connect, educate and serve veterans, their families and communities.Led efforts to develop Board, including recruitment of new members, development of Board and staff job descriptions. Coordinated organization of WVRC Advisory Council, including the recruitment of new members and their involvement/input to Board activities.Organized development of WVRC 2014 Operational and Program Strategy, its review, and establishment of program for 2015. This included goals, objectives, and accountabilities in the maintenance of core operations, strengthening of present services, expansion of WVRC services, revenue growth, and increased collaboration with fellow service organizations.Developed and presented for Board approval WVRC Program Coordinator position.Transitioned from President's position in January 2016. Supervised Division’s input to corporate for Bid and Proposal expenditures.• Developed OTD’s Business Opportunities tracker and programmed/led regularly scheduled business opportunities planning meetings. Efforts focused OTD leadership on important potential future customers and work. • Managed execution of OTD’s $935K FY 10 Overhead/Discretionary account. Validated actual vs. planned expenditures and directed reprogramming efforts, to include execution of Annual and Spot Bonuses. • Represented OTD, and Cubic Applications, Inc. to the Fort Benning and Columbus, GA defense and business communities. • Directed and led the 2000-cadet undergraduate student body of the South Carolina Corps of Cadets. • Supervised the 41-member Commandant’s Department with nine (9) direct reports.• Upgraded and refined position requirements, duty descriptions, and performance guidelines for the Commandant’s Department personnel. Gained institutional and state approval for revisions to the Commandant’s Department organization and pay structure.• Led effort supporting the institutional strategic initiative of Developing Principled Leaders. Formalized introduction of The Citadel Principled Leader Development Program.• Directed the organization, planning, preparation and execution/delivery of The Citadel Values and Respect program. Chaired formation of The Citadel Values and Respect Task Force. Focused organizational team building and cadet development on the Vision, Mission, and Core Values of the institution. • Modeled positive, developmental, inspirational leadership. Efforts produced significant reductions in serious cadet disciplinary incidents, marked cadet physical performance improvements, and the highest cadet grade point averages achieved in multiple years. • Principal assistant and deputy to the Commandant of Cadets. • Primary coordinator in the development, discipline and welfare of the 4200 cadets in the US Corps of Cadets. • Directed the Commandant’s staff in support of the Corps, five (5) Directorates, 400 staff members, and a $28 million annual budget. • Empowered directors and senior staff, implementing multiple planning initiatives and policy programs. Codified significantly revised Cadet Leader Development System and military training programs.• Chaired the Cadet Health Promotion and Wellness Council (CHPWC). Served on the Real Property Planning Board (RPPB), Program Review Board (PRB) and Academy General Committee.

7Th Army Training Command, Us Army Europe

• Commanded the Operations Group at the Combat Maneuver Training Center (CMTC), 7th US Army Training Command, Hohenfels, Germany. (CMTC renamed as Joint Multinational Training Center JMRC) • Provided tough, realistic combined arms training in simulated combat exercises for US Army Europe battalion or brigade-sized units. • Developed and orchestrated Mission Rehearsal Exercises (MREs) for Europe-based units deploying for Contingency and Peace Support operations in Bosnia and Kosovo. • Trained and employed eleven (11) CMTC Observer/Controller (OC) teams and a 700-soldier dedicated Opposing Force (OPFOR) Infantry Battalion. • Maintained the readiness of the 4000 soldier, civilian employee and family member Hohenfels military community. • Developed, coordinated and programmed execution of CMTC’s $52 million annual operating budget.

Us Army Korea

• Commanded the 1st Brigade, 2d US Infantry Division, stationed in the Republic of Korea.• Prepared the 4000 soldier Brigade Combat Team for immediate, no-notice combat operations ranging from counter-terrorism to full scale regional war. • Orchestrated operations of the brigade’s two tank battalions, mechanized infantry, field artillery, combat engineer and forward support battalions. • Developed and executed the Division-standard model for small-unit training and evaluations.• Developed the Brigade’s Gunnery Training Program, improved and sustained combat vehicle operational readiness rates and developed the Division adopted standard long range training calendar.• Planned, programmed and managed execution of the brigade’s $14 million annual budget. • Fostered professional growth and readiness of disciplined soldiers and leaders.
