Emergency Medicine PhysicianThe Emergency Group Jul 2008 - PresentHonolulu, HiThe physicians of The Emergency Group, Inc. (TEG) manage two of the busiest Emergency Departments and Trauma Centers in the state of Hawaii, 24-7-365. Since 1973, we have been the only group chosen by The Queen's Medical Center to provide this service at the main hospital on Punchbowl Street in Honolulu, and at the West O'ahu hospital which opened on May 20, 2014. We were also the first group in Hawaii to use only physicians specialized in Emergency Medicine. Today, TEG is viewed as Hawaii's leader of emergency medicine. Our physicians handle the task of treating the most serious emergencies and work closely with all sub-specialists. We also work in tandem with Emergency Medical Services (EMT & MICT paramedic) programs, often supervising care even before patients arrive. In addition, our physicians are heavily involved in teaching Resident physicians from various training programs and medical students of the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine. We remain committed to providing the highest quality of care for anyone presenting to our Emergency Departments.
