Sumner Winery and Stranded Sailor Wines is Veteran owned and operated. A Small Batch Fruit Winery and Micro Vineyard. On a Century Farm, that's been in my family since 1830! A vision to preserve an ole' farm into the future and make it sustainable. By growing Muscadines, Blackberries, Raspberries, and Strawberries in which to make Wine. While also being able to partner with other local orchards and farms to get other ingredients such as Watermelons, Apples, Peaches, etc. I have started a YouTube channel (Stranded Sailor Wines) to show "How to make Wine at Home" videos, and to get a Social Media awareness. In the future we will be able to launch an online Store front and sell my Product. Like a Fine Wine everything takes time! Polishing a business plan done 15 years ago. I already have Muscadines and Strawberry crops planted. As well as some Blackberry and Raspberries.It's down to both Federal and State Licensing and Permits. Alot of reading and Red Tape. Everything takes time like a fine wine. The vine makes the grapes. The grapes make the wine. The wine makes the Dream.But Spring is around the corner, the plants are about to start blooming.
