Under a 12-month post-sale retention contract through 29 February 2012, consulted executives at Siemens Financial Services and DeltaLeasing, which was acquired by Siemens on 22 February 2011 (http://finance.siemens.ru/financialservices/ru/en/about-us/executive-management/Pages/index.aspx):• Voting member of Steering Committee, which managed DeltaLeasing’s integration into Siemens.• Actively managed key meetings and discussions between executives at Siemens and DeltaLeasing to facilitate rapid integration and assure clear discussion of business processes, policies and procedures as well as modifications to them driven by integration.• Consulted Siemens on Russian cultural and corporate norms and assisted as required with interpretation and the generation of dual-language business documents to facilitate understanding.

• Launched, scaled and managed Russia’s leading provider of lease finance to SME, with nearly $815 million of equipment and vehicle leases originated through February 2011.• Managed sales-side activity to identify a high-quality strategic player in financial services to acquire DeltaLeasing, which culminated in a sale to Siemens AG (Siemens Financial Services) on 22 February 2011 and rebranding of the company to Siemens Finance. • Directly supervised approximately 60 Russian nationals across seven regional offices spanning 4 time zones. Subsequently identified, actively managed and consulted a senior team of Russian nationals that drove day-to-day business across a platform composed of 18 offices, 7 time zones and approximately 300 Russian employees.• Assisted in strategy formation, approval and implementation.• Analyzed and voted on financing transactions as a member of the Credit Committee.• Identified and negotiated 3rd-party financing to support leasing operations, including credits with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), WorldBusiness Capital, Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft (DEG), UPS Capital, Netherlands Development Finance Company (FMO), Anglo-Romanian Bank, Standard Bank, ICICI Bank and UniCredit Bank.• Managed creditor relationships.• Organized Board meetings and managed communications with Board members, the shareholder and its management company and U.S. Government (i.e. USAID and local embassy or consular staff).

Managed a broad spectrum of projects (partial list below), headed translations during negotiations and meetings, and translated business documents (English - Russian and Russian - English):• Izhevsk Radiozavod: Sought and facilitated strategic partnerships with Western companies. Assisted in modernizing the former military plant’s product mix via technology transfer. Represented CEL at the enterprise’s board meetings and at meetings with plant management. Consulted the plant during negotiations with Western businesses and financial institutions. • Pure Technologies: Participated in the development of products for the microelectronics industry. Sought and facilitated relations with Western business and government organizations in order to test prototypes, generate orders, and locate project investment. Managed negotiations with Western entities and consulted the Russian partner on Western business practices. Wrote company business plans and presentations.

• European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Air Traffic Control Industry Study: Member of a team that analyzed 14 high-technology enterprises across Russia in search of technology transfer opportunities. Headed written and oral translations. • Proposal Development: Performed technical translations and assisted in drafting proposals for work in both Russia and the USA.• Information Resources Management (IRM) Group: Compiled and analyzed data and jointly wrote several documents concerning information technology and process re-engineering for NASA’s IRM Division (e.g. Business Activities Report, IRM Long-range Plan, and IRM Self-Assessment Guide). Conducted direct interviews with NASA IRM managers.
