As the senior technical leader of the Collaboration Network Development team, Greg is responsible for the evolution of the Collaboration Service Delivery Network to meet the conferencing needs of our clients and positively impact the bottom line financial results.Greg is engaged with product management and network architecture teams to architect and design robust, cloud based managed services and delivery environments. Greg’s creative and collaborative approach to design and development not only created a robust, flexible and extensible service delivery cloud but also earned him recognition as an inventor on 10 patents issued by the US Patent Office.Greg is the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Collaboration Service delivery Network and was often called upon to assist sales with presenting the technical advantages of the service to prospective customers in the effort to earn their business. He would also provide technical responses to RFP’s for the more tech savvy prospects. Greg is successful at both of these having helped sales close deals with many Fortune 500 companies.His expert knowledge and deep understanding of the collaboration industry was used to manage both the tactical and strategic relationships with our hardware and software vendors. This included influencing these vendors product roadmaps as well as driving them to improve the quality of their delivered product and reducing the time to receive acceptable code by 60%.

As the leader of the Conference Network Engineering organization, Greg led a team of engineers to create architectures and integrate platforms into a global VoIP network. His responsibilities include Network Architecture, Network Development, and tier 3 customer support which included direct SME support of off hours maintenance and major service outages.Greg is responsible for evolving the service delivery network and migrating it from a legacy silo topology to a service tightly integrated with our Global VoIP network.In migrating to an integrated service delivery with our global VoIP network, Greg collaborated across internal organizations and his own team to architect new network elements and led the development effort which drove our service availability to 99.999%, improved our port utilization by 15%, and and improved our ability to support very large fortune 100 companies which is a key to winning their business.

This disrupted the industry by moving the conferencing business model from reservation-based conferencing to self-serve conferencing and increased total conferencing minutes 10-fold within 2 years.Greg's team is responsible Network Architecture, Network Development, Tier 3 Customer Service, Network Expansion, Capacity Planning, and Project Management.
