Leuze is a global leader in sensors, safety, measurement and bar code reading for industrial automation.As National Sales Manager I managed a seasoned group of industrial automation professionals (Sales, inside sales, application support) that worked to increase our market share, drive above average growth and develop strong relationships with our independent representatives, distribution channel, system integrators and direct customers. My team and I developed an entirely new channel partner/system integrator program, as well as to develop local strategy to increase market share and top-line sales dramatically. Datalogic is a world leader in Identification Technology, Machine Vision, Laser Marking, Sensors and Safety based out of Bologna, Italy internationally and from Telford, PA and Bloomington, MN in the US.While at Datalogic, I managed the Sensor & Safety business unit team and promoted the sales of our sensor and safety line in the North American market. I established great relationships and strong partners in Mexico. I worked with our territory sales managers to help direct efforts to win sensor and safety business. I also worked extensively with our channel and OEM’s to help win market share. I worked to recruit new channel partners and alternative paths to market as well as create a business plan, marketing strategy and establish budgets and goals for the growth of the business unit. My Italian counterparts and I worked closely together to create worldwide strategies, marketing efforts and new products to sell in global markets.In addition to my job as North American Business Unit Manager for Sensors and Safety, I was responsible for managing sales for Datalogic’s Industrial Automation business in Mexico. It was my job to work with our sales team, distribution partners and direct accounts as well as to hire, train and manage a direct Datalogic sales presence in Mexico. We also actively recruited new partners and developed strategies to grow sales and market share.
