Gregory T. HunsickerLockheed Martin F-22 Avionics Field Service Engineer, F-22 Field Support, Tyndall AFB, FL., Integrated Fighter GroupMr. Hunsicker is a Lockheed Martin F-22 Avionics Field Service Engineer supporting the Air Force’s largest F-22 wing of 55 Raptors at Tyndall Air Force Base. Tyndall’s two F-22 units support two major missions: the 95th Fighter Squadron’s combat (24 jets) and the 43rd’s training (31 jets) missions. Mr. Hunsicker deployed to the United Arab Emirate with the 95th Fighter Squadron in 2014, to support the F-22’s first combat role supporting Operation Inherent Resolve, and again with the 94th Fighter Squadron in 2015, supporting Operation Inherent Resolve.Prior to transferring to Tyndall, Mr. Hunsicker worked as a F22 Avionics Engineer Staff, specializing in Radar Systems at Lockheed’s plant in Marietta, Ga., from 2003 to 2005. In this role Mr. Hunsicker supported post assembly flight line operations for all F22 aircraft during both production and flight ops. Organized and evaluated engine runs and flights for all phases of system performance prior to and during delivery of F22 aircraft.Mr. Hunsicker was the Full Scale Aerial Targets Avionics Superintendent for Lockheed Martin, Tyndall Air Force Base Fl., from Apr 1997- Feb 2003. Mr. Hunsicker managed a team of 15 technicians and 20 mechanics to support avionics maintenance on 40 manned and unmanned F-4 aircraft. Coordinated contract modifications to enhance aircraft ECM capabilities and added personnel to the existing Full Scale Aerial Targets Contract.Prior to retiring from the USAF, Mr. Hunsicker was assigned to the one-of Radar Test Facility, Tyndall Air Force Base, FL, Lead F-15 Radar Technician from Nov 1987-Apr 1997 where he actively managed Operational Test and Evaluation of APG-70 and APG-63 Radar Systems. Quantified weapons system testing of operational flight programs for F-15 and F-16 fighter aircraftPreviously Greg was assigned to the 2nd Aircraft Maintenance Unit, Tyndall Air Force Base, FL as a Weapons Control System Mechanic, F-106 A/B aircraft. Maintained MA-1, ASQ-25 Attack Control System, from Jan 1977-Aug 1984 Analyzed performance of Radar, Infra Red Tracking, Flight Controls, Digital Computer System, Armament Control, and Power Systems on F-106A and B model aircraftMr. Hunsicker holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Technical Management and Operations from Embry Riddle Aeronautics University.
