As a member of the Fishkill Campus Sr. Leadership Team, led all distribution activities at the North East Distribution Center (NDC) with specific focus on People, Cost and Service metrics. Facilitation and delivery of all major campus initiatives, defining the campus culture, as well as talent review, recruitment and leadership development. The NDC is a highly automated, 1 million Ft2 facility shipping approximately 60 million units annually to 400+ Gap and Banana Republic North East stores. - NDC was Gap Logistics Distribution Center of the Year in both fiscal 2009 and 2010 based on People, Cost and Service performance metrics- Received Exceed award for fiscal 2010 – Overall Outstanding NDC Results – productivity, change management and process improvements- Received Wear Your Passion Award for 2010 – Individual performance coupled with > 90% satisfaction on personal EOS ratings- Received Exceed award in 2008 for leading network implementation of PIV driver differential pay- NDC was awarded most improved productivity award for fiscal 2010 – 25.7% improvement- During 4 year tenure, NDC Productivity increased 221% (316 to 699 UPFH)- NDC Variable cost per unit decreased 27% (22.1c to 16.1c)- Facility utilization increased 30% (54.9% to 71.5%)- Lost inventory (LIMBO) decreased from in excess of $1mill in 2007 to current totals < $50k on a daily basis- OSHA recordable rates < 5, 2011 frequency running 1.34- EOS results in 60/70 range, most recent 65- Change Management* Implemented standard operating practices (SOP’s), alignment of engineered labor standards, GROW pay for performance and production accountability program* Led shift consolidation of NDC 3rd shift outbound (2008) and 2nd shift inbound (2010)* Team successfully fended off union organizational rallies in 2008 and 2011* Led through Fishkill campus MRIF in 2008 and several VRIF’s* Managed through major market realignments and transportation management changes
