Responsible for the daily operations of 30 associates for a two-shift distribution center: Receiving, Accuracy, Stocking, Picking, and Shipping Departments. Traffic Control - Direct all transportation into and out of the warehouse to meet company standards of customer service, cost, safety, and security. Reporting - Ensure accurate and timely preparation, processing, distribution, and retention of all necessary reports and records regarding warehouse operations. Safety - Develop, implement, and monitor safety guidelines for the safety of all personnel, equipment, and property in compliance with OSHA and MSDS regulations. Inventory Management - Ensure accurate and timely inventory control for the distribution center by working directly with inventory control clerk. Track inventory issues for root causes so as to work towards preventative measures. Partnered with the Purchasing Manager to develop better flow processes for product which maximize the storage capacity of the warehouse. Partnered with the Engineering department to establish new metrics that measure on-the-floor production performance.

Responsible for the daily operations of 40 associates for second shift including: Receiving, Accuracy, Stocking, Picking, and Shipping Departments. Implemented an aggressive training program in order to establish the Inbound Departments on second shift. Managed merit-based review initiative which included the development and execution of individual safety, performance, accuracy, attendance, and job related behavior goals for all operations departments.
