• Manage teams responsible for SOX Compliance and Internal Audit for publicly traded companies, as well as Advisory projects for both public and private sectors• Lead multiple engagements effectively, within mandated deadlines and budget. Responsible for all aspects of engagement planning and execution, including budget preparation, resourcing and the performance of an in-depth risk assessment analysis• Oversee up to 10 staff and up to 7 teams, focused primarily on Apollo Global Management (Credit/RE/PE Funds, Valuation and Pricing processes) as well as Mortgage/Property REITs (e.g. Ladder Capital Corp, Innovative Industrial Properties), Business Development Companies and Manufacturing clients• Offer outside of the box recommendations to reduce cost and improve processes. Design and implement control designs, recommend findings to management to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls, work directly with executive management and/or Big 4 external auditors

• Lead the team to provide attest services of various clients within the Broker-Dealer, Hedge Fund, Private Equity, Employee Benefit Plans and Commercial Industry• Clients included: Centerview Partners, PJT Capital, QVT Financial, Napier Group, Warburg Pincus, Tricadia Capital, The Eco Funds Group, and The VMC Group

• Applied International Financial Reporting Standards and International Standards on Auditing• Clients included: NCH Capital, BlackRock, American Home Mortgage, City of New York, Verint

• Proofread and prepared financial statements for distribution to clients
