About Gregory Walsh
I have been running a rural physiotherapy practice in Aireys Inlet since relocating from our Melbourne sports medicine practice in 2002. We have embarked on a program to promote well being and the benefits of an active lifestyle to the local community. Major achievements have been the introduction of a network of classes for over 50's in the towns of Lorne, Anglesea and Aireys Inlet. These classes are constantly oversubscribed and we are planning to introduce some partnerships to expand the network. Through the auspices of our private practice we have also been running thrice weekly supervised gym circuits for busy "school mums" who put their family above their own needs. Classes are offered during school hours. Limitations of places at the gym facility are the only impediment to the scope of this initiative. One on one consultation at our clinic facility occupies the rest of my time and remains busy, despite attempts to scale back and expand the exercise component.
