I am currently a test and calibration technician at Veoli, performing calibration, testing, and electro-mechanical troubleshooting on TOC and Boron analyzers. Prior to this, I spend 4 years aboard a US Navy submarine working as an Engineering Laboratory Technician (ELT). As an ELT, I utilized proper sampling and analytical techniques to draw, analyze, and interpreted results to decide future actions performed in support of the nuclear reactors operations in accordance with standard operating procedures and regulations provided by Naval Reactors. Working as part of a division, I provided supervisory oversight in relation to radioactive maintenance performed on board, utilized proper cleanliness controls, and maintained meticulous accountability records of radioactive material generated on board. Additionally I provided for the continued maintenance and calibration of radiation monitoring and measurement equipment on board the boat.
