Experienced Chief of Police with a demonstrated history of working in the government administration industry. Management and leadership of a 100+ employee department (72 sworn) to provide 24 hour Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) services , Policing services, Code Enforcement, Licensing, and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) first response to a community of 65,000 residents that live in an approximate 36 square mile community. The EPPD has an annual operating budget of approximately 16 million to fund a comprehensive team that professionally and compassionately responds to an average of 50,000 calls for service every year. I earned a Masters Degree in Police Leadership, Administration, and Education. Skilled in Crisis Management, Police Operations, Government, Fire Service, Emergency Medical Services, and Emergency Management. I had the great fortune of attending and graduating from The Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy (FBINA), Session #263. I am passionate about serving/ building strong relationships with the community we serve, and the continued organizational advancement of the Eden Prairie Police Department.
