Participates in field sampling for water quality, benthic sediment chemistry, macrofaunal communities, trawl (fish and large invertebrates) communities, and the accumulation of contaminants in fish tissues. Uses ROV and dive surveys to monitor the structural integrity of the SBOO and PLOO and identify potential health concerns associated with the recreational use of San Diego's coastline.
