I have over 25 years experience in hardware design and development. The scope of work I have done includes circuit boards, chassis, rack systems, and multi-rack systems, as well as bench-top, hand-held and body-worn devices. My experience is primarily in digital design, including microcontrollers, microprocessors, and CPLDs, but also involves some analog circuitry. I have worked on numerous projects over the entire project life cycle, starting with defining and documenting requirements, through concept design, preliminary and critical design phases, system integration, testing, and final delivery to customers.During my career I have performed electrical engineering, project management, and system engineering. I can work as a leader or a member of a project team or as an individual contributor. My strengths include an ability to work well with others at all levels, good debugging and troubleshooting skills, the ability to see existing system-level problems and foresee potential problems, and a commitment to delivering high-quality products on time and within budget.
