My main focus is on Food science but I like deepening my knowledge in many fields, especially finding solutions on interdisciplinary problems, where specialization is a barrier. My instinct and insights about future development is strong and is usually verified when the time comes. I started reading science when I was 10 buying university books (bookstores refused selling at my age) and especially after I earned full scholarship for “Anatolia” American College of Thessaloniki. Today, my personal library consists of more than 1000 Scientific Books.I started computer programming from the early days of Basic, Pascal and Dbase, now I work deeper with Python and data mining. As for hardware, I made a talking board (my design and construction) in the early 8088 CPU (48Kb memory) of the 80’s, today I experiment with industrial Iot (Internet of things).I do not want to let my curiosity thirsty, where ever I find a problem I seek for the best solution and if there isn’t one yet, I will invent one. I have experience in using equipment in electric and electronic troubleshooting (to discrete part) and building electromechanical projects for innovative solutions.My love for experimental cooking is accelerated even after 3 decades of doing it professionally for making innovative menus at my job. New methods (sous vide) distant recipes (bao buns) and food safety is my main field today.
