I am a recent graduate of BCIT’s Digital Forensics and Cybersecurity BTech program, who is pursuing cybersecurity with enthusiasm! With the evolution of increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks I think it is essential that we place more urgency on pre-emptive cybersecurity management with proper research and implementation of security controls. To that end I like to maintain a mindset that allows for creative problem solving, designing innovative security solutions in collaboration with stakeholders. From my experience working with multiple organizations I believe that a flexible team and good communication is essential for smooth operations. Clear lines of communication with end users, management and the rest of the tech team is the only way for painless network infrastructure changes and cybersecurity hygiene.
