I am passionate about using machine learning to solve real-world problems. I develop NLP and machine learning models to create additional value.Before my current role, I was a sales engineer supporting customers in all major verticals including insurance, financial services, automotive, and healthcare. In this position I developed strong presentation skills, communication skills, and emotional intelligence. This role taught me the importance of empathizing with others and listening well. I received an SE MVP Award and 3 EMC Excellence Awards.I hold an M.S. in Computer Science with a specialization in Machine Learning from Georgia Tech, and I graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ohio State.In addition to studying machine learning, I am passionate about the climate, improving the food system, and income inequality. Outside of work, you can find me exercising, exploring the amazing trail system southern Colorado has to offer, and spending time with my amazing wife, my fun and energetic sons, and my awesome Australian Shepherd.
