Staff Data ScientistDecile Apr 2021 - Aug 2023Washington, Dc, UsSome of the highlights during my 4+ years with Decile/SocialCode:• Created a Predicted Customer Lifetime Value (pLTV) model using a deep neural network (DNN) thatutilizes 1P (transactional) and 3P (customer attribute) features in order to replace our existing “buy-til-you-die” Recency, Frequency, and Monetary Value LTV model (1P features only). DNN model is currently outperforming RFM model by fifteen percent using Mean Absolute Error (MAE)• Built a “store lift” algorithm using a “differences-in-differences” econometric approach that identified – for a client with both ecommerce and physical locations – whether opening a new store increased revenue in the metropolitan statistical area (MSA) where the new store is located• Developed multiple Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) models based on available data and attribution: Shopify OrdersAPI last touch and Shopify GraphQL multitouch. Wrote a white paper (ask me!) and presented models via webinar to hundreds of stakeholders• Created a Market Basket Analysis that identifies products likely to be purchased contemporaneously and sequentially (fp-growth algorithm). Firm first monetized this report as a custom analytics offering then added the algorithm to our app• Developed an Audience Uniqueness / Similarity Score using Principal Components Analysis (PCA) fordimensionality reduction, then Cosine Similarity applied to the PCA-reduced feature space• Identified price- and discount-sensitive Audiences using 1P and 3P data (price elasticity of demand) -
