Program Manager for the THAAD Structural Subassembly contract. Responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical execution and delivery of THAAD structural subassemblies to the Troy AL final assembly facility.

Staff manufacturing engineer on structural assemblies. Position entailed selection of equipment, tool design (using ProE), cause and corrective action determination, establishment of manufacturing process, proposal preparation, and process improvements in support of fabrication of structural assemblies. Process improvements accomplished using six sigma, kaizen, and five "s" tools. Current assignment includes support for an engineering development program, preparation and start up of a production program which includes the program management tasks.

Lead Senior manufacturing engineer for structural assemblies supporting the Titan, Atlas, and THAAD Programs. Dual responsibility as a quality and manufacturing engineer. Position responsible for the overall technical management of complex aerospace structural assemblies. Technical advisor to the Program Manager and mentor to several junior engineers. Primary interface with customer technical representatives including USAF. Duties included selection & check out, of all equipment, tool design and procurement (using ProE), Quality Management including root cause investigations and corrective action identification and implementation, manufacturing process development and control systems, proposal preparation, procurement support, and manufacturing process improvements utilizing six sigma, kaizen, and 6 "s" tools. Titan Program Highlights- Start up project – transferred large structural assembly line from Textron Inc to LM Harlingen. Set up and Certified Tooling and Re-Qualified Processes and managed execution of production program to support follow on production contract. THAAD Program – Start Up project to build structural subassemblies for THAAD missile. Developed and certified new processes (tooling & equipment) including requirements for 100k clean room operations in a product development environment.

Advance Solid Rocket MotorResponsible for technical requirements development between the customer and the subcontractor. Responsible for Parts, Material, and Process Controls including material analysis, manufacturing process improvements, and development of acceptance testing methods and procedures . Supported contract technical reviews including fact finding and technical evaluations. Primary responsibilities of this position were as follows:* Design experience on alternate solution proposal.* Review of subcontractor's drawings, design, analysis reports, test plans, and test reports.* CT(Computed Tomography) reviews and evaluations.* Material experience with steel, aluminum, phenolic composites, cork, polyisoprene, fasteners, gaskets, o- rings, and corrosion coatings.

Development work on the Trident II (D-5) second stage nozzle which included project engineer/principal investigator on an alternate carbon material program and design/development work on a material evaluation test bed and the Pegasus nozzles. Technical requirements liaison with subcontractor. Primary responsibilities of this position were as follows:* Design experience which encompassed mechanical joints, adhesive joints, bolt patterns, seals, tolerance studies, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, CAD drawings, and drawing reviews.* Instrumentation experience which included selection, installation, and routing of instrumentation;design and incorporation of instrumentation; and evaluation of data* Evaluation experience utilizing NDE (readiographic inspection, ultrasonic, and magnetic particles), CMM, SMI, and visual techniques.* Material experience with steel, aluminum, phenolic and epoxy composites, cork, elastomers, fasteners, gaskets, o-rings, tungsten, carbon-carbon, and corrosion coatings.* Test experience which includes mechanical and physical properties testing, material evaluation testing, test plan preparation, test oversight, testing, and test reports.
