At Aibee, I joined as the 8th member of the US engineering team under Stanford Professor Silvio Savarese, working on computer vision solutions for security camera videos. Worked part-time during spring semester and full-time during summer break. * Developed 3D localization estimation by combining single camera person tracking results from multiple cameras in C++. Applied solution to 12 hours of video on 6 cameras for customer demo. * Oversaw the camera calibration process and software pipeline in C++ for full 3D camera alignment. My system was robust and automated enough to scale to over a hundred cameras.

At Facebook, I developed the vehicle simulation environment for the second iteration of the ultra-endurance unmanned Aquila aircraft. * Solely responsible for building the simulation framework in Matlab/Simulink. My work focused on developing a system that is flexible, modular, scalable and fully integrated with a unit test framework.

I took some time off from engineering to travel the world and make a short documentary film series with my wife Ellie Wen.

At SpaceX GNC, I worked in a small team responsible for all GNC algorithms, trajectory design, and dynamic simulation of 16 successful flights of the Falcon 9 rocket. * Led the trajectory optimization, design, and analysis as the GNC responsible engineer for numerous groundbreaking Falcon 9 launches. * Designed and stress tested flight algorithms to achieve maximum payload capability and orbit insertion accuracy using first principles and C++, Python, and Matlab software. * Developed physics models in 6 degree of freedom dynamics simulation with C++. * Ran thousands of simulations in parallel and analyzed results with Python.
