Setting sail towards Taiwan and a deeper sense of purpose, he carved name seals out of stone while studying Chinese brush painting and calligraphy with local masters. Wandering from mountain peaks and temple ruins to underwater canyons while swimming with manta rays, Gregory has painted in roughly 60 countries. Through traveling and casting a wide net, Gregory pulls in a diverse collection of colors, cultures and imagery with which he expresses the power of the human spirit. His paintings and colors remind us that, though often challenged by adversity, “everything is going to be okay”.

Olympic Artist In Residence; 'Olympic Agora' Tokyo 2020 Olympic & Paralympic GamesInternational Olympic Committee – Ioc Mar 2021 - Aug 2021Lausanne, SwitzerlandProduce six large scale artworks for the Olympic Agora, to be exhibited during the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The Olympic Agora is meant to foster greater dialogue between the Olympic Movement and society and to complement the Cultural Olympiad by promoting a broader view of Olympic culture and values. The OFCH invited a selected number of Olympians/Paralympians to participate in an exhibition in the context of the Olympic Agora in the Nihonbashi neighbourhood in Tokyo. Five Olympians and one Paralympian produced visual artworks that were featured as part of a special installation that blended the tradition of Japanese Noren curtain design with the power of sport and creativity.
