By using and developing innovative technology, I provide insights and intelligence reports to help improve fisheries sustainability globally. This involves the use of machine learning algorithms, satellite tracking systems, and remote sensing data (such as Electro-Optical and Synthetic Aperture Radar imagery) to identify activities related to Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated (IUU) fishing.

Worked for Archipelagos - Institute of Marine conservation in Greece, with a primary research focus of the creation of sustainable small-scale fisheries and their relationship to island food security. The research was to fulfil a combined socio-ecological study, and involved both ecological fieldwork (UVCs, Fyke and Minnow Netting, monoBRUV deployment and video analysis) and social surveys (market, household and fisheries landings). I was also active in community engagement work with the Municipality High School and Island Fisherman’s Association. Previous to this I worked on the effects of aquaculture on seagrass meadows on the island of Oinoússai where I also had various administration and report writing roles.

Instructing and teaching on a variety of activities including: Gorge walking, Coasteering, Raft building, Castaway days and surfing. I work with various groups of people, from children to corporate groups having team building days. Planning and running safety cover during scientific dives.
