This position has provided the opportunity to gain experience in planning and public information for a variety of projects and clients. Major project responsibilities often include GIS mapping and analysis, existing conditions research, issues and opportunities analyses, deliverable development, project management support, and public outreach, among others. Through these roles I have contributed to urban planning, development, and transportation projects, specifically regarding transit-oriented development and mobility and transportation systems. These project roles are often based in my GIS background, which has allowed me to not only provide support using a technical skillset that contributes to project success and supports other task responsibilities, but continue to grow these skills to adapt to a variety of projects. Project experience includes: CTrail Hartford Line TOD Action Plan, Hartford TOD Pilot Study, MBTA Bus Stop Accessibility Improvement Program, the New Haven-Hartford-Springfield Rail Program, and the East Windsor Complete Streets and Development Concept Plan, among others.

Assistance with day to day activities in the Office of the Provost. Preparation of documents destined for the Travel Office, Human Resources, and Grants Administration, among others. Preparation of materials for the Promotion and Tenure Process. Various other projects on an as needed basis.

Participated in the research of pressing environmental issues facing the state of Connecticut including Transportation, Water Diversion, Forestry, and Beverage Container Recycling, among other topics. Assisted in the creation of an Environmental Briefing Booklet to be distributed to the public and politicians outlining these issues and forthcoming legislation in the state legislation addressing environmental issues. Tracked the voting records of politicians in the CT State Legislature on environmental issues.
