I am a dedicated farmer and hydoponicist with over 15 years of experience growing organic produce. I also have 5 years of experience managing an organic farm, selling both direct to consumer at farmers markets as well as to local restaurants. In 2013, I earned a business management degree from Arizona State University and subsequently earned my Sustainable Agriculture Certification from Cal Poly Pomona in 2018. Through this program, I completed an internship at Archi’s Acres in Escondido, CA where I received hands-on training in large-scale farm management, greenhouse production, and organic hydroponics. I am passionate about sustainable agricultural practices, water conservation, and building community through food.Outside of the farm, I am a devoted husband and father to three daughters. I currently reside in Whittier, CA and spend most of my time taking in all the city has to offer for my young family. Born and raised in Southern California, I enjoy going to local food spots, taking my family to the beach, and of course maintaining my own at-home garden and chickens. I am a huge LA sports fan, foodie, and animal lover, and will talk your ear off about hydroponics or farming if you let me. I am proud of my Latino heritage and believe that there is a need for more representation of People of Color in the agricultural space. I am excited to bring my unique professional and cultural background to the agricultural world where I hope to make an impact to the community at large.
