There's no thesis to my professional life. There's no neatly packaged way to summarize my business philosophy or my career trajectory.I went to theater school where I learned how to work with others to find creative solutions to problems. When I hit the work force I started as a freelancer and learned the importance of saying no, and yes, and I learned it all the hard way. After leaving theater, I worked for three start-ups and learned how to navigate the business world. Incidentally, I found a whole host of new teams to work with on finding creative solutions to new problems. When I left Chicago, I learned how to network and make professional connections without the benefit of a social safety network.The result? I work hard. I play well with others. The results are usually good. When they're not, I do my best to learn from them.
