Gregory J. Fleming is the founding Chief Executive Officer of Rockefeller Capital Management. He has spent more than 30 years in the financial services industry with a record of leadership in transforming businesses, building trust among institutional and individual investors, and creating value for shareholders and colleagues.In March 2018, Mr. Fleming became President & CEO of Rockefeller Capital Management, an independent financial advisory firm providing wealth management, asset management, and strategic advisory services. Built on the acquisition of the legendary Rockefeller & Co., the firm serves high-net-worth investors, families, businesses, and institutions. Mr. Fleming is a shareholder and member of the Board of Directors of Rockefeller Capital Management.From 2010 to 2016, Mr. Fleming served as President of Morgan Stanley Investment Management, and in 2011 he was also named President of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. Previously, he served as President & COO of Merrill Lynch, from 2007-2009, after leading the firm’s Institutional Securities and Global Investment Banking businesses. He joined Merrill Lynch in 1992 as an investment banker. Before Merrill, Mr. Fleming was a principal at Booz Allen Hamilton.A 1988 graduate of Yale Law School, Mr. Fleming is a member of the Board of Advisors for the School’s Center for the Study of Corporate Law, a former Distinguished Visiting Lecturer and Senior Research Scholar, and a frequent Visiting Lecturer; a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Economic Club of New York; a Trustee at Deerfield Academy; a member of the Turn2 Resource Council; and a member of the Trustee Advisory Board at Millennium Management LLC. He is a 1985 summa cum laude graduate in economics of Colgate University, where he has served as a trustee.
