I was responsible for meeting with clients to prepare their federal, state and local tax return. I was required to manage my clients throughout the entire process. During the end of the tax season, I was required to make follow-up calls if need be as well as file for extensions.

I was an intern for the tax department at Arnett Carbis Toothman during the current tax season. I worked directly with the tax department on personal returns filing out forms such as the 1040. I learned how to efficiently use current tax software to complete personal tax returns.

I work directly under the CFO of the company aiding with various accounting projects. I focus on data input into a series of spreadsheets from equipment databases to job cost detail databases while also visiting job sites.

I worked at both the pro shop and driving range at Tam O'Shanter. I helped assist customers with making club selections and letting them on the course.

The Learning Commons

I was required to aid the leader of the session in any way possible. On some days we will split the class in half and I will take one half of the class to another room to assist them on my own. It was a great learning experience for public speaking, leadership and many other important skills.

Business Office

I completed an on campus internship with the Thiel business office. I was given daily tasks to complete such as making journal entries, posting to ledgers, and entering receipts into our computer system. I learned great skills such as organization, how to meet deadlines and some of the day to day tasks I might come across in my field.
