Gregory R. Hansell is the Co-CEO of Alden Investment Group, where he collaborates with CEO Lee Calfo to steer the company's strategic direction and operational excellence. Gregory leads Alden Investment Advisors, the company's private wealth division, as well as oversees key organizational functions—including talent management and personnel, workplace operations, and financial management—to drive efficiency and support the firm's growth objectives.Additionally, as the Chief Technology Officer for all entities within the group—Alden Securities, Alden Capital Management, and Alden Investment Advisors—Gregory spearheads technological innovation across the organization. He implements advanced solutions that enhance operational performance and provide a competitive edge in the financial services industry.Before joining Alden Investment Group, Gregory served as the Executive Director of Omega Center/C4C, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting human flourishing. In this role, he directed key initiatives that expanded the organization's impact and outreach. He also founded and ran a technology consultancy, providing strategic technological solutions to a variety of clients. Prior to that, as Chief Product Officer at A Better World, he led the development of the "A Better World" game on Facebook, successfully integrating social good with interactive gaming and engaging a global audience.Previously, as Managing Director of Global Communications at the Metanexus Institute, he launched global web projects and managed an award-winning online magazine, enhancing the institute's international presence and fostering interdisciplinary dialogues on science, religion, and culture. He also served during his time there as IT Manager and later Director of IT.Earlier in his career, Gregory worked in network technology at Prudential Financial, where he contributed to enhancing the company's IT infrastructure and network systems.Gregory is a graduate of Swarthmore College. He resides in Wayne, Pennsylvania, with his wife, Samantha, and their children, Tabitha and Griffin.
